Sometimes good things are worth waiting for . Finally, after a prolonged wait filled with doubt and uncertainty, MF Global's American customers will be made whole.
Yesterday, a Federal Bankruptcy Judge approved the " shortfall " to be made up from MF Global's General Estate.
Chalk one up for America's small folk. Meanwhile, Corzine is already starting up another company. Only in America!

Miracles, Miracles...MF Global U.S. Customers Probably to Receive 100% of Their Money Back! Happy Ending .
After what seems like years trying to untangle this financial "jig-saw puzzle" by two "pitbull trustees, numerous Regulatory investigations, Congressional Hearings, FBI investigation, a worldwide search for "customer money ", a bankruptcy and wrangling with British Administrators of funds, it appears that US Customers will actually be "made whole"! Amazing, great news.
Jon Corzine , who has been dragged through the mud , actually may be vindicated by the whole process. His $6.3 billion bet on European Bonds paid off . US Customers will not lose their life savings. Although European customers won't fare as well. Anyhow, the beat goes on.
Hey, another day "on the Street"!

MF Global ; Relief in Sight for Customers, Barclays, RBS and Seaport Group Line up to Buy Claims!
MF Global . Corzine . Commingled funds . Missing customer $$$. Bankruptcy. Congressional hearings. Millions tied up in Britian's Bankruptcy System. Secrecy. Corzine getting a pass . A sequel to Madoff . Auditors, accountants...No answers .
Then lo and behold, a breath of fresh air . Barclays , Royal Bank of Scotland and the Seaport Group ,as reported by The New York Times today, are lining up to buy US customers' distressed claims for 90 and 91 cents on the dollar. Sounds like an offer to good to be true. The "big banks " are betting that all or a great percentage of MF Global's funds will be recouped and they will make money on the spread.
For now, I have two word of advice for MF Global customers...Grab It!!!!!!!!

MF Global Revisited..."Hey Mister Have You Seen My $1.28 Billion?"
Ok, correct me please as soon as I say something that sounds unreasonable (Not yet you knucklehead) . We have MF Global , a major financial institution , run by former Governor and US Senator Jon Corzine . There is over a billion dollars of customer $ missing . There are allegations and evidence that MF Global in it's final desperate days "tapped into client funds " to keep the ship alive. Corzine testifies in Congress and is treated by the members with kid gloves . Actually congratulated for a job well done(You know , effectively destroying the paper trail).
And "all the kings horses and all the kings men " cannot find one , red fu__in cent . MF's official position(I'm gagging) is "we don't know where the $ is"! Still , no indictments...just Bankruptcy business as usual . Lawyers, auditors, accountants and investment bankers getting richer. Corzine is probably planning his next venture already ....Only accepting money from deaf, dumb and blind people from Iowa, over 90 years old with net worths of $50 million and up. Bernie Madoff will be the treasurer, Ivan Boesky the CEO, Michael Milliken will be in charge of investments and Raj Rajaratnam will be in charge of "Research and Development". Can't miss!
So am I missing something here ? Or is there some logical(I meant contrived) explanation to all this?
You know what? I got the answer ..The next time someone asks you for an accounting of funds, just simply turn, look em straight in the eye and say " I honestly don't know where the money is ". Case closed! No further questions .
