Was This Tim Duncan's Last Hurrah?

Great series, the younger, more athletic guys won. But, to their credit, the Spurs fought to the bitter end last night.Time simply ran out. Nothing to be ashamed about. OKC with Adams and Kanter and Ibaka, plus the big 2, is more than formidable!! Next series will be must see TV!!! 

  So where does the greatest power of all-time , and possibly the classiest athlete of all time go from here? Has five rings, 19  years, coming off a 67 win(40-1 at home) season. Played a good game last night , no doubt.
   My  opinion; Comes back, plays another year, maybe as a 6th man..Gonna be interesting. Tim, you have been the best!!!!

So  we have two new baseball inductees for Cooperstown, Junior and Mike Piazza. Both highly deserving...Griffey a shoo-in and Piazza , the greatest offensive catcher of all time both in.
   Great stuff!

Dow Goes Nuts Today!!

Good end to the week on Wall Street. The Dow climbed almost 370 points today, working its way back closer  to 18,000. I'll drink to that!!

Mets; Are We Watching Seaver, Koosman and Gentry?

Who woulda thunk? The Mets winning their division, beating the Dodgers and manhandling the Cubbies so far...Yes there has been Murphy, and Murphy and well you get it. But the starting pitching has outdueled Kershaw, Greinke and now Lester and Arrietta. Holy cow!!!
  The next three are in Chitown, so let's see who the Mets will put on the mound for game 4? Are you kidding me?
